To start the process of a commissioned portrait, I ask for a $200 deposit to put your name on the list and I paint accordingly. The list does get significantly larger during the holiday season!

After or with the deposit, I ask for pictures of your pet—either emailed images or hard copies will do. (Please do not send originals, as they will not be returned.) If you are photographing your pet, please get at their eye level to capture a great picture that shows more of their true self! Those that live near, I will be glad to come over and take pictures myself. After pictures are gathered, I do a short interview about your pet’s life—quirks, nicknames, funny or touching stories, etc. I also ask you to include a picture of your home, a room or inspiration piece so that I can check my palette to your life. And that’s it!

I am an artist, so the timeline is tricky. Depending on the list and my inspiration, I can take two hours or six months to complete a painting. If you do choose to continue, I accept cash, checks and all major credit cards. Please do not hesitate to call or email with any questions.

Thank you so much for your support, and I look forward to working with you!
